Well the act is introduced in 2013, Which means in CSR is just a baby in India, and India is the first country who introduced it officially in the frame. This means that there is no real MBA programme in India, because they will ask you for huge money in lieu of no education and now mostly every programme graduation or post graduation are having a CSR as a small Chapter.
Banaras Hindu University which is Asia's biggest university does not have a single professor for CSR, which means there is no need of graduation and post graduation for right now but you can opt for a Diploma in CSR from Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Corporate Social Responsibility (JNICSR). Scope CSR:
Just because of one Act 22000 thousand corporates identified by the Government of India under the law. Which means according to 2 percent, Rs 22000 Thousand Cr floating in the names of Jobs and Opportunities. Now corporates are only entertaining CSR qualified man power for their CSR wings, no MA social work or MSW, MBA social entrepreneurship, PG Diploma in development programme and MA social entrepreneurship etc can justify their candidature for the same without doing CSR. 2 percent is too much for the corporate and no corporate is ready to take that risk. So, Diploma in CSR is the right option for you.
