Generally, to pursue B.Tech you need to pass plus two with 60%.
(Subject Combination : Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) . One needs to appear in entrance as well.

As per your query it seems that your long term goal is to pursue MBA, so please remember in order to pursue MBA you need to be graduate in any discipline with atleast 50% marks.
So, after completing 12th you may pursue undergraduate degree in any field in order to pursue MBA.

Both the course you mentioned are good to pursue and both offers good career prospects and excellent growth opportunities.
I would suggest that before opting for any course you must first decide in which field you wish to build your career and accordingly you can select the best course as per your interest and liking.
As a student you should give your 100% in whichever course you opt for, and if you do well then getting a good job with handsome salary should not be a problem.

I would suggest that you are absolutely on the right path to build your career, as it is always good to work for 1-2 years after graduation and then pursue MBA.
The advantage of this step would be:
- You will gain relevant work experience.
- After working you will know which course to pursue than can further enhance your career prospects, i.e. if you wish to build your career in technical field, then you may pursue masters in same or related fields, whereas if you are interested in management then you may pursue MBA.
