Hi Vallem, try to find out what your brother desires to study. Allow him to follow his interest and passions. If he is not good in mathematics and physics find out subjects he is fond of and areas he is strong in. For example if he is interested in literature, reading, writing etc he can choose Arts stream. Hope it helps.

Hello ketan, Hello srihari, The Chartered Accountancy Course is divided into three levels I. e. CA Foundation, CA Intermediate and CA Final. To become a CA in India, you must pass all these three levels of CA including three years of Articleship Training. Thus, it takes a minimum of 5 years for you to become CA after the 12th.

Marks-ranks correlation can change wildly from year to year. One of my friend got a 351/480 and was ranked 408 in JEE 2011. In JEE 2010, someone who got 350 was in the top 100.
All I can say is if you want CS in a top IIT, you have to score as high as you can and get a rank as low as you can. For IIT Bombay, that's some 2-digit rank and for other 4 older IITs, it will be some where around 200 or so (in that range). For Guwahati and Roorkee, 500ish or 600ish should be enough I guess.

Write GATE. sometimes if you are lucky enough (plus a good score) they have recruitment programmes and you can apply through gate score. or else get into some defence/DoS funded institutes through gate score. but buddy you will require hell of a score. :D
