1. Check Eligibility:

Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria which typically includes a pass in Class 12 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as subjects and a minimum percentage of marks. 

2. Entrance Exam:

For government quota seats, you need to appear for the relevant entrance exam, which is likely to be the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) exam. For management quota seats, the college might have its own entrance test or consider merit in the entrance exams mentioned earlier. 

In order to apply for the B.E./B.Tech Program at Sri Venkateswara Engineering College (SVEC) in Tirupati, candidates should first appear for and qualify in the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET (EAPCET) entrance examination, and then with that merit, they can participate in state-level online counseling. Diploma holders in engineering or technology may also be eligible for lateral entry into the second year of the B.Tech program, however candidates have to have qualified the Andhra Pradesh ECET examination and go through a separate counseling process.
