Hi, Sangeetha, What type of job you take up depends up on the specialization you choose. The ones that are in demand are 1.Guidance n counselling(for those who are suffering from psychological disorders, Grief counselor in hospitals, Education and academic counselor in schools), cam join orgs working for women empowerment like the labor welfare dept, women child welfare dept as a program manager for education and livelihood realtted programs as the desirable qualification is M.S.W or M.Sc Psychology or Education.
You may apply for NET, clear that and take teaching as your profession and can even be a Counselor after college hours.

Both the courses are good but offers separate careers. B.SC IT focuses completely on the technical aspects and IT as the core.
Whereas the BMM i.e. Mass Media is a more of a creative, spontaneous stream which include the study about data, information processing, mediums of media and outsourcing the information among the masses. Media is a huge discipline and it holds several functionality like multimedia, journalism, mass communication, PR etc; a lot would depend on one's analytical skills and communication skills.
There are several institutes in the country which will offer you the mentioned courses and to know about these,

Although, you have not mentioned that how many years of work experience you have, but I would like to tell you that the correspondence programmes are mainly for those working professionals, who have good amount of work experience and are looking for growth with in their own organization or industry. As you are planning for looking for HR or Systems domain which will be a new field as far as your profile is concerned, advisable would be that you go for a full time MBA programme.
