A full time PGDM course is always given preference over an executive.
Also there wouldn't be placements for executives as a person doing such a program is to be employed

FMS Delhi has students from diverse backgrounds like doctors, architects, humanities, engineering, etc,. So your work experience as sub-inspector can become handy. As per the eligibility criteria, you have to clear CAT cut off only and you have to have more than 50% in your graduation, which you already have. Work experience is preferred in most of the B-schools. In FMS Delhi, there are students who have 1 year to 7 years of work experience. Hi Yash,
After completing your BMS, you may choose to pursue Management oriented courses like MMS and MBA. An MBA with specialization in Finance, Marketing or HR would be ideal. Also your choice of a specialization will depend on your interest, career goal and your current job profile.
Along with your job, you may continue with your studies and take admission in an executive MBA program if you so desire. A General MBA also could be a choice, if you have difficulty in choosing a specialization. Alternatively, you may take on a short-term course from an institute such as ICFAI.
There are also a lot of other post graduate courses for which

It depends on where you want to see yourself after the course. May be engineers do prefer areas such as Systems, Project Management, Operations Management etc, but if you are creative enough Marketing can be a good choice as well. If you feel you are good in man management, then HR is not a bad choice. If you dream to step into banking and finance sector, then Finance can be your option.
