Good B-schools will not take admission without CAT or MAT. Most of universities taking direct admission will not provide good placement. So, first prepare for the entrance exam and get a good score then apply for a better B-school.

You can try for some private colleges or if the college you desire has a management quota, you can opt for it. I am not sure if they will accept your admission based on your credits, since the time has already paced forward and the annual term must have been started.
So, instead of wasting almost a year, try and contact the college and find if you can reserve a seat still.

Obviously you need some type of skill set, when it comes to writing lyrics. Some are highly adept at this, while others don't have any concept of lyric writing principles - they write what sounds good. So, there are two schools of thought here. I would say, even if you don't know much about lyric writing, you most definitely need to have some potential.
