The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering ( GATE) is an all India examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and Science. GATE is conducted jointly by the IISc and IITs on behalf of the National Coordination Board GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), GOI. You need to write GATE to get into M.Tech. There are colleges offering admissions based on GATE score with minimal cut off like Medicap University – Indore. It is a decent college for M.Tech.

To make things clear, please note that universities don't grant visas. Any university can only grant you admission to a course you applied to. Student visas are granted by the Canadian Embassy and consulates, and admission to college and visa applications are two very different processes.
Sorry, Fraser international college is not under the SPP. However a similar named university, Fraser Valley University, is under SPP.
