Hi Nandini, the body responsible for conducting TANCET is Anna University. TANCET stands for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test. Students who aspire to enroll for MCA or M.Tech or MBA or M.Arch or M.E or M.Plan can apply for the test.
For M.Tech, to be eligible, candidates should have completed their bachelor's/master's degree or an equivalent. It should have been done in the same domain in which the candidate wishes to do M.E./M.Tech. M.Arch/M.Plan.
There are many books available for the TANCET. Some books contain all the relevant topics while some books are on the individual topics. These books are meant not only for TANCET, but also for the other entrance exams.

As Shiksha is an education portal which believes in giving unbiased guidance, it would be unfair on my part to give my personal opinion about a particular Institute. However, IILM is a decent Institute which is AICTE approved but if we talk about a particular branch then I would suggest you to visit that branch and check for yourself.
I would like to add here that few of the things which you should keep in mind while choosing your Institute are: First and foremost the recognition of the Institute (the institute must be recognized by UGC or AICTE), Secondly, the course curriculum and the study material, the infrastructure, the faculty(their educational background), the placement, last but not least Institutes reputation in the job market for which you should visit the institute and try and talk to the current batch students and get few of the alumnae contacts as well. This will give you a real picture about the institute.

hi alie,welcome https://shiksha.com and software engineering is a good course to learn and very big also dont worry about ur job if u have a good profile like percentage and communication skills and good computer knowledge both software and hardware and what the subjects ur learning in ur 5 yr course remember and try to be practical on those subjects and u have a chance to get a job on testing side dept mostly because software engineering mainly deals about testing and software tools only and if u learn programming languages also u may have a chance to get a job on other platforms also so dont worry u have a vdry bright future and concentrate on ur studies it leads to ur success.all the best

Their are two stages that you need to clear- CSAT and main exam. The minimum requirement is graduation from a recognized university and the eligibility age is from 21-30yrs. For your preparation I would suggest you to first join a good coaching center so that you have the relevant study material to start your preparation. Now lets come to the most important part that is self study which is very essential as UPSC exams are not easy to crack and to crack the exam you really have to prioritize your time. For self study you can start with reading newspapers and books related to current affairs and Gk, if you want you can refer to Manorama Year book which is one good book for GK and current affairs.

But as you are interested in pursuing masters in medical systems engg from University of Magdeburg, I would like to say that it is a good university. Below mentioned are the admission requirements:
Language Requirements:
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): minimum score of 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based), 79 (internet based)
CAE (Certificate in Advanced English): minimum score: B
IELTS (International English Language Testing System): minimum overall band score: 6.0
Academic requirements:
University Bachelor's degree or diploma in the following fields: electrical engineering, information technology, computer engineering, mechanical engineering or other relevant areas.
