As you want to purse your career in interior designing after 12th, yes you can go for it,as the eligibility criteria for the same is 10+2 pass in any discipline with minimum 50% marks
Their are institute which do offer degree courses. Some of the good institutes are:
1. Pearl Academy
2. IIAD,Delhi
3. Asian Academy of Film and Television, Noida

Kshitij, you can try for MDes at IIT Mumbai. do read this too Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science. Sometimes student Artists are too much enamoured by Fine Arts preventing them to look objectively at Design. They must read this http://bit.ly/SXc9GD. Again like science it pays to be at the cutting edge. For e.g. science students do better if they go for CS or IT since that are areas where development is taking place rapidly.
