Hello Geetanjali,
You have a nice percentage in state board exam. You are a BIPC student, better to go for biology felid, not computers. If you are interested in computers, then get an idea on programming, then only you can get a specific value on that degree. Without the knowledge in computers, you can suffer lot of problems.
Thank you.

You should have only 50% marks in the 12th class to fulfil the eligibility criteria. My friend has done her B. Well, it is not good for a mechanical person to get into IT, but most of the students do that due to unavailability of jobs in mechanical sector and if you join IT, now then it will be very difficult to join core companies afterwards. I would advise you to seek an internship first even if you are not getting a job in Core Company and then move on.

Hello Darshana,
Frankly speaking, there is no proper answer for this query. This is so since girls are ruling the roost in almost all fields and branches of engineering. Hence, even if you Google, majority of answers would be very old. Here, I would like to advise you that please select a sub branch of chemical engineering that fascinates you the most. This is of vital importance. You must choose a field of study that generates enthusiasm and interest in your mind. No biology is not important. Best wishes to you.
