Both are different but each of these options are great and amazing in their own fields. But if you appear 4 GATE you may get admission (for M.tech) to top institutes like IISc, IITs or NITs where you could get monthly stipend as payment for your part time teaching/research assistant.Whereas MBA deals with management of an organization. Both MBA and M.Tech could pay you a handsome package.

Hi Vivek, UPES has excellent placement record especially for their Oil and Gas programs. The Oil and Gas management graduates seem to be the pick of corporate. The average CTC for students completing this course was 5.3 Lacs/annum with the highest CTC for 2013 being 10 Lacs/annum.
