Any graduation with requisite percentage will make you eligible to appear for Management Aptitude Tests. You must car MAT, CAT, CMAT, ATMA-AIMS or equivalent with a good score. Based on the scores so obtained you will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview at the concerned institute.

You should have min 75% attendance to take exam , attendance is strict in college. If you maintain 95% you will get 5marks in internals so I suggest to maintain good attendance.

BMS is also good college it is next to Pes university in PGCET rankings. But BMS is VTU and Pes is separate private university. So if you get Pes university choose it over BMS.

Yes fees is hiked for management students by 40k ,but for PGCET students the fee hike will be decide by KEA authority and college fees hike notification is not yet announced. So you can drop a mail to admission section regarding this matter.

MBA is good for management level type organizations, MTECH is technical course so it is limited to core companies only . But it mainly depends where you want to see you ,in which field. So decide which suits you good. Placements are good for MBA compared to Mtech.

Classes will be staring on August for management students it is orientation classes for them but for pgcet students it depends on the counselling schedule closure by kea , you will get notification once you attend counselling.

The cut off for GM was 150-200 last year but this will change this year because competition increases every year . So try to get good ranking for good colleges in PGCET.

Hi
It would be little difficult to manage both as JEE preparation require regular studies and hard work. If you are very sure of doing something from IITs only, then u may take a gap year and prepare rigorously for it. Otherwise continue with ur b.tech. Alternatively, if you can manage both, u may try again.
