According to best of my knowledge, I would like to suggest you that Both BBA and B.Com have their own merits. It depends entirely on your interest before choosing either of the courses. If making a career in management is your priority then you should go for BBA as it is the foundation of management and has been specifically designed for MBA aspirants. B.Com on the other hand, is much more diversified and has a wider scope for specialisation for post-graduate study. Thus, it is advisable to first chalk out your skills, aptitude and area of interest before taking up any of the courses. Instead of looking at the money making aspect while choosing a course it is more feasible to choose a course that will give you long-term benefits rather than a short-term. Yes, most of the colleges /University offers BBA courses where you will get the option to choose a specialization. Currently, the BBA degree is gaining momentum among students. There was a time when only a few private colleges and institutes were offering this degree, but now, almost every major university in India is offering BBA. Therefore, it has become even more accessible. Companies also actively look for BBA graduates and offer them a good salary and benefits. The Bachelor of Business Administration degree is considered by many as the degree of the future. It is a professional degree that is rising in popularity among students who want to make a career in management right after their 12th standard exams. This degree is also apt for students who want to pursue management studies after graduation. I believe people like Harsha Bhogle are extremely rare (i.e. people who haven't played the game at First Class level or higher) and it's getting increasingly unlikely that you'll have a shot at that role unless you play the game professionally first. There's more former players becoming commentators and experts and they are far more likely to get the positions you're applying for.
But if you want to be a studio host for a sports / cricket show, you may have some luck. You do need ample cricketing knowledge, quite a lot of charm and charisma and the ability to host which, to be quite frank, is something that is more innate even if you can hone your skills after that.
Star Sports has ample money to hire all the big names so you may want to start smaller. Even that will be unlikely but it's a better bet. You could start off with having a YouTube channel where you do quirky, off-beat, interesting cricket analyses / reports to get yourself noticed. Or work at a place like ESPNcricinfo, CricBuzz, Sportskeeda etc as a Journalist who can also do video. But you'll need good skills in all departments if you want to actually tour (camera-work, editing, audio, interviewing, carrying stuff around, producing, graphics, packaging.). That's what I do, but I don't really want to host in a studio and I don't think there's much of a chance of me sitting in the commentary box unless I'm called (after years of doing this) as a one-off semi-expert on something cricket-related.
If you're good at the starting steps and get noticed, you have a better chance of getting some of these one-off gigs and you can go ahead from there.
But my dampening word of advice on the matter is that you'd be better off trying to become a sports journalist or a roving reporter / presenter (like Gautam Bhimani or Gaurav Kapur) rather than trying to emulate Harsha Bhogle.
Also, learn to commentate in Hindi and English if you do want to work for Star. That'll help your case eventually.
