Admission in GIM depends upon passing the cutoffs in CAT, XAT and CMAT. After that, your performance in GD PI round. Academics don't carry that weight unless it is for achievers round.

As a minimum criterion of eligibility, aspiring candidates need to have completed:
Higher and Senior Secondary levels of education (classes X and XII) with a minimum aggregate score of 60%. Graduation (B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the main subjects), with a minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates). Yes, it possible but you have to confirm with the universities first. Typically, you can complete a one year PG diploma course in India or complete the first year of a relevant MS course in India to get the 16-year education requirement. In addition to these, you must have a high percentage, good projects, IELTS score, and a competitive profile overall.

In IT, there are subjects which teach you practical software development. Whereas in CS, subjects are more theoretical. B.Tech CSE deals with the core engineering with computers and computing machines to learn the technology used and the architecture inside. B.Tech IT is a programme on Information Technology.

If your ultimate goal is to pursue mass communication course only, you should undoubtedly pursue BJMC. But again, mass communication is a wide field with multiple dimensions. If you are interested to make a career in content writing, English Honors will be helpful. For all other dimensions of mass communication, English Honors won't be of much help and hence, it will be wise to pursue BJMC directly.

BHMS Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates are required to fulfill the below mentioned minimum eligibility criteria required for admission into the course.
10+2 or any equivalent degree from a recognised university. An aggregate score 50% at 10+2 level

DIT University take students on basis of JEE Rank & class 12th Boards Merit. But, in JEE Mains, CRL rank will be considered, not the category of state rank. Else, our first counselling for engineering is on 9th June & 10th of June.
