Hello Veman,
After HSC, many states allow admission into 2nd year of three year Diploma course. After Diploma, one can GET admission in 2nd year of four years degree course. So it is 12+2+3=17 years. If degree after 12th, then 12+4=16 years. Thus one looses only one year.

Last year, the cutoff for general category was in the range 1210-1841.
So keeping up with the trends, this year also with slight variation, you'll be able to clear the cutoff by the second list itself.

Yes, you can do it. But maths will be tested in your CA foundation exam for 60 marks (MCQ).
After foundation core maths is nowhere required in CA exams.
