Polytechnic is a good option because it takes 3 years and makes you eligible for entry level. Jobs of engineering. It is also to be accepted that admission to Diploma of Polytechnic is easy. One more thing is that Polytechnic Diploma is equivalent to 12th that makes it possible to do a B.Tech through Lateral Entry or any other Graduation.

You should take part in JOSAA counseling and fill mechanical branch of various participating colleges (NITs and GFTIs) as your admission preference. You can get PUMBA, D.Y PIMR, ASM etc. in Pune. With this score, you can also get in colleges from Mumbai such as KJSIMSR, Welingkar, CIMR, SIES etc. Provided, you are a resident of Maharashtra. But, if you want to look out for the best college, then you can give another attempt next year and get into JBIMS or SIMSREE, since you have just graduated. Make sure, you do something productive in the gap year to justify it during the interview session.

AOT is a very good college. In fact when I went for counselling I got AOT in my 2nd counselling. But in my 4th counselling,I opted for BPPIMT. There are many advantages in BPPIMT. Also while comparing engineering colleges in West Bengal, AOT comes after BPPIMT. I will mention the advantages in BPPIMT.

It is important to study MBBS from a good university irrespective of whether you study in India or abroad. If you choose a good university, it's worth to study MBBS abroad. For admission to MBBS abroad it is important that you score at least 50% in PCB and qualifying score in NEET. If you don't have this and still decide to go abroad you will not be eligible to practice in India.
