Marine engineering is a branch of engineering which deals with boats, ships, oil rigs and any other marine vessel or structure, but also encompasses oceanographic engineering. It is niche branch with high paying salaries but full of challenges to have work life balance. Job opportunities for Marine engineering graduates are in shipping and ship build industry.
Aeronautical Engineering also is a niche which prepares students for designing and building aircraft and spacecraft. Aeronautical engineers handle design, manufacturing and maintenance of aircraft, helicopters & UAV. There are lots of good career opportunities on completion of Aeronautical engineering. You can join DRDO/ ISRO/ Aviation manufacturing or its ancillary units/ Airlines/ Air Force/ Educational Institutes/ R&D Units/ IT, etc.
Both the branches are equally good. You must choose a branch based on your interest to succeed in the professional life. Marine jobs are full of challenges, therefore, you are advised to choose this profession if you are ready to accept its challenges willingly.

Optometry is a branch of medicine which deals with visual systems. Further, it deals with vision issues such as examining, diagnosing, managing and treating diseases of the eye. Optometrists can help prevent blindness as they deal with refraction, eyewear, fitting of contact lenses, dealing with low vision and evaluating and referring to ophthalmology. After gaining experience in private clinics and lens manufacturers they can start their own practice. The initial salary for a fresher in optometry ranges from 20,000-Rs 40,000 for a month while an ophthalmologist salary depending on his place of employment and skills is about Rs 9 -10 lakh rupees in a year.
On the other hand, the career opportunities in nursing are very high not only in India but also abroad. With more and more nursing colleges opening up each day, it is a sign of the requirement of skilled and qualified people required for the service. Undoubtedly, the career is not for everyone as it asks for a lot of patience and hard work. So, it depends on where your interest finally lies.
