Dear Anubhav,
CAT is not all just about theoretical concepts. In fact, it is all about your analytical, reasoning and broadly mathematical skills. I think you must have a look at some past CAT exam question papers to understand what I am trying to say. You are saying that you are good in theory (that's good but not enough) try to improve your maths question solving ability. Your comprehensive and responsive approach should be efficient enough to crack CAT (or any management entrance exam) with good marks.

Hello Sai,
This is the biggest example of bigoted thinking of politicians and all of us who elect them. Admissions in the 2nd year of engineering after completion the of Diploma is restricted to the students of that particular state only. I feel you should attempt to get admission in your own state.

Hi Ashish,
If it's a one-year degree, chances are that it won't be recognised in India, there is many ongoing news about it so keep yourself updated with current affairs. Salary and job will depend on your field of study, work experience, where you are employed, job role, etc. Before applying, write to the universities about career assistance and then proceed.
