Many students aim for a Ph.D. but it takes time and a lot of effort. Ph.D. is the degree that someone pursues after completing his or her Masters in a particular field of study. A Self-researched Thesis paper or dissertation is to be submitted to the University authority during Ph.D. is the highest university degree that can be obtained in a field of study. Majority of students who take up academics as their career have the dream to pursue a Ph.D. After studying for many years and completing Bachelors & Masters, it becomes tough for a student to invest three to five more years to academic studies and research. Part-Time Ph.D. The programme which is offered by many universities & colleges in India helps those students who want to work on something else while getting a Ph.D. It merely means that an individual can pursue a Ph.D. according to his or her convenience and pace in a part-time Ph.D. programme. There are many rules & regulations need to be followed while taking on Part-Time Ph.D. programme. As an academician & a professional trainer when I was evaluating and analyzing the curriculum of multiple educational institution I found the complete concept of the engineering curriculum in LPU to be as per the call of the hour. A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is completely different from a Chartered Accountants (CA).
CFA is more perceived as a course aimed towards corporate finance and financial investments. There is a greater demand for accountant professionals than financial analysts. Therefore in an organization the CA's outnumber the people handling finance areas like treasury operations, corporate finance and project evaluation by the ratio of 5:1 and even 10:1. the additional advantage is that a CA can go into a private practise or join a specialized accounting firm after a few years of experience. They have job opportunities, both in the industry as well as in specialized accountancy firms and as private practitioners.
A qualified CFA candidate can also become either a financial analyst or an independent investment consultant. A CA will compete only with another CA, but in the case of CFA he will be competing with the non- CFAs who will be practicing. I feel that CFA will be most profitable in combination with some other degree, by this I am not discounting any CFA stand alone. Maybe, a CFA along with an MBA will have more opportunities in this industry. CFA is more of a value addition degree which channels your knowledge and it is more focused and is a value addition to your skill sets.

I doubt if UGC allows you to join 2 regular degrees simultaneously. However, if you're after Design Knowledge then you can pursue a Non-Degree course simultaneously (even that would be tough to manage alongwith engineering for most students). There are many design based careers for the creative/ artistic people. Interiors, textile as well as Web Design rely on the same skills - your layout skills and color sense. Journalism also is at this level and relies on your language skills and knowledge of history and current affairs. A little higher perches Graphic Design, Fashion Design, jewellery and Fine Arts which rely on one of your artistic skills - sketching and imagination. At a similar level perches VFX as well as Motion Graphics which rely on one of your artistic skills - Cinematographic skills and imagination. Then come careers like Animation, Film Making, Game Design which rely on multiple talents like your authority over sketching, acting, direction, voice, sound, writing, storytelling and problem solving skills etc. Any extra skill can be used in this. So it turns out to be one of the most challenging as well as satisfying careers. Sure not recommended for the weak hearted. Do remember that digital design careers (e.g. web design, graphics, UI design, animation, vfx, multimedia) give better profits since they can be delivered anywhere in the world and hence may earn in dollars - resulting in better rewards for designers.
