Hi,
MBA is a degree and is offered by universities like University of Delhi, BHU, etc whereas PGDM is a post graduate diploma and is offered by AICTE approved and autonomous institutes like IIMs, IBA,IMT, MDI etc.
Both these course have almost the same course curriculum, so you may pursue any of these course.
However if your long term goal is to pursue Phd, in that case you should opt for MBA as in order to pursue Phd you need to have masters degree.
While taking admission, your emphasis should be more on taking admission in good universities or institutes.
