There are very few Institutions that offer M.Tech in Mechatronics in India. As it's a young branch, investment in M.Tech in India would be useless but outside India such as Germany, USA, UK, Russia you'll find there is a huge demand for mechatronics engineers with good knowledge. Even the companies which manufactures the medical machinery needs the mechatronics engineer.

Hello Aswin,
Well, this will depend on your final performance or percentile and also how competitive the university is. If you could not show significant improvement after the backlogs chances will be challenging. However, there are so many opportunities in Australia that you might land up getting an admission offer from some university or the other, maybe not the highly ranked ones. A very good application needs to be presented along with a decent IELTS score.

If you apply as a fresher (for first year), you will be eligible for almost every college in Bangalore, but if you want to apply for direct second year entry (lateral entry) then only few colleges might accept your admission due to state change.
