Hello Veshagopu, I can understand your trepidation or anxiousness in selecting the next course of action after completion of intermediate. Just don't get worried. Every student goes through these emotions and these are most normal at this point in time. My sincere advice to you would be to select the branch or the stream of your studies which you like the most. It could be Science it could be arts for fine arts for commerce or engineering or medical or dental or anything that you fancy. Always remember that in future in your life what would matter most is the hard work that you put in while studying and trying to assimilate and understand the subjects that you are studying. Yes, I think you can join our college. Since you are from the ST category, the eligibility criteria are also only 40% in PCM because of which you are just eligible for our university. But don't forget to bring your ST certificate during the counseling process. Also, you have a moderate score in JEE Mains so I think you can surely get admission here. The only problem will be the branch choice. Students are called according to their overall 12th and JEE marks by which they get the chance to choose their desired branch. Due to your marks, I think you will not get Btech ECE since it is usually the first branch most of the students preferred but I am sure you will get a seat over other branches. So don't lose any hope, try your best. I will suggest you try for other colleges also since your chances are very little. You may find your name on the waiting list. But don't worry and keep trying.
