You can pay the hostel fee at any time before joining. But the seats in the hostel are limited in number and once they are filled, hostel admissions would be stopped. As there are other branch students too opting for hostel seats, its better you pay the fee and book your hostel seat soon. Hostel fee ranges from Rs. 30,000 to 46,000 per anum depending on the type of sharing you choose (twin or triple). This fee doesnot include mess fee.

Dear Chetna,
I would suggest you to give CMAT too in next time, because in case of low percentile, you have no problem to get admission as you are here a welcomed customer who is investing huge, but you get the college of this percentage. Generally, they have those company in hand where sustainability is very low. They have yearly bulk hire and fire strategy. So, try to do better in XAT to ensure a sustainable job profile with good in hand salary (check in hand salary not the CTC, be clever), feel free to write me.
Regards,
Subhajit

As of now, Council of Architecture doesn't permit the architectural courses to run on distance mode. There were few colleges such as one in Jaipur but that also has stopped the distance mode due to strictness from Council of Architecture.
Thanks.

No, the whole course has been designed in such a way so that students coming from any stream will be able to adjust to it properly. In fact, with the passage of each year you will see the time to study at home increases, which means you can use that time to study in some institutes to prepare for CAT, MAT or XAT, if giving MBA is one of your top priorities.
Secondly, I would suggest you to go for BBA programs in core domain like BBA Logistics, BBA Oil and Gas Marketing, BBA Aviation, BBA Auto Markting, etc. As these are unexplored branches and have good career prospects than traditional BBA programs. For such programs UPES is best bet.

Dear Aswaria,
FMS selection criteria don't have weightage for academic scores. Hence, the higher the score in CAT, the greater the chances of securing a call from FMS.

Hello there,

Between DAV University and Lovely Professional University (LPU), I'd genuinely recommend going for LPU if you're serious about pursuing engineering. The scale and quality of infrastructure at LPU is on another level altogether—modern labs, smart classrooms, high-end computing facilities, and industry-tied centres for advanced tech training like AI, robotics, and data science. One of the things that stood out for me is how LPU blends practical learning with theory so well. Their focus on project-based learning and strong industry collaboration really sets students up for success in the job market.
