Mass Communication is a very diverse field. One can choose to specialize in print and TV journalism, online media, radio as well as in other mass communication fields like advertising, public relations (PR) and events.
So, there are a lot of job opportunities available in the field of mass communication.
The Bachelors course in Mass Communication is known by different names in different institutes like B.J. (MC), B.M.M.M.C. Etc. In order to get admission in Mass Communication, you will have to appear for an entrance exam which is a general aptitude test. This exam includes 4 sections namely quantitative aptitude (mathematics), logical reasoning, English Language and general awareness.
If you want to apply for the government colleges, Mumbai University, Delhi University, BHU, Kurukshetra University and Department of Communication and Journalism, Pune would be some of the great options.

Hello, There are basically 4 sections in MBA entrance exam - Verbal Ability, DILR, Quants and GK-
Verbal Ability:
Start reading a newspaper daily to increase your reading speed and grasping power. Don't miss out the editorial page. Do a proper analysis of articles on the editorial page. Try to make a summary of articles that you read para by para. But reading a newspaper won't be sufficient. Start solving RCs on a regular basis with proper analysis. DILR
This is one of the toughest section, especially from previous 2-3 years. Not only it is tough but it also checks how quick your senses are and how good you are in selecting the sets. So the best thing to score in LR-DI is to practice more questions on a daily basis so you understand which sets you should leave and before attempting the sets what are the things you should look for. I would suggest this book 'Puzzles by George J Summers'. Quants
This section is one of the most scoring section for student and you too should try to get maximum marks in this section. It has a proper syllabus and you need to practice each and every chapter. The major topics are- Geometry, Arithmetic, Algebra, Number System and Modern Math. It is basically the math that you have studied till the tenth standard. However, having said that, the questions are not really easy. Focus more on Arithmetic and Algebra as these two are the most important topics. For this, prefer Arun Sharma. GK
Read newspaper daily for current affairs and go for Lucent for static GK.

SPJAT 2018 Eligibility:
Candidates willing to appear for SPJAT 2018 must ensure that they comply by the eligibility criteria of the exam. Failing to do so might lead to the rejection of application form.
SPJAT 2018 eligibility criteria is as follows:
The candidate should be a graduate from a recognized University/institute. Final year candidates are also eligible for the exam. However, candidates holding a relevant additional post-graduate qualification shall be given preference.
The candidate must hold a full time work experience of minimum three years.
The candidate should have completed his/her secondary education in English.
The candidate should have appeared for CAT and have scored 80% or for GMAT and have scored 650 are directly eligible for the evaluation round.
