In Kerala, the Department of Geography of Kannur University offers a two-year four-semester M.Sc. geography (geoinformatics) course. Those who have a B.Sc. or BA degree in geography with a minimum 50 per cent marks in part 3 (main and subsidiary together) are eligible for admission. Selection is through an entrance test. Candidate must have completed Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent
The minimum marks secured in 12th standard should be at least 50%
The candidate should have pursued the science subjects. The science subjects should include Physics and Chemistry
Most institutes insist candidates should have pursued Mathematics during 12th standard
Meeting the minimum admission requirements for entry does not ensure a candidate's admission.
