Why not as your gap is not going to consider in mbbs, its for hsc and after hsc you are taking admission directly in the mbbs so where is the gap. But in interview they may ask you for that so please give them right reason for this gap.

As per the information mentioned on Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State website, admissions to engineering colleges in Mumbai will be based on JEE Mains score.

If you mean full time MBA or PGDM program then please in order to pursue this program you need to take various management entrance test like CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, etc.
There are some institutes which do not require CAT or MAT scores for admission, however in that case you need to take entrance test conducting by these institutes.
Please note that without taking management entrance test it would not be possible for you to get admission in this program.
For your reference find below various national level management entrance tests.
- CAT.
- MAT.
- XAT.
- CMAT.
- ATMA.
So as per your query I would suggest you to take atleast one of the entrance
