Hi friend,
I think, Food technology is better than Food Science and nutrition, and it is much better when it is B.Tech in food technology Because Food technology comprises of Food Science and nutrition plus technology or the technical aspects. So, the scope is more for food technology as obviously the areas covered and knowledge is more in food technology. And I think it depends upon your interest. By studying Food Technology you will be placed in food companies like amul, nestle etc. By studying Food Nutrition and Science you can be a dietician and placed in hospitals, gym etc. These two fields are interdependent.
Good luck!

For automobile engineering, Lovely Professional University generally has an edge over Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science because it's often seen as more hands-on with practical workshops, labs, and industry-focused project work, and many students report better core placements and recruiter attention in this field. LPU's overall engineering placement network is larger with many companies visiting campus across disciplines, while Hindustan also has decent placements but slightly lower ratings for this specific branch compared to LPU.

Short takeaway: Foe automobile engineering leaning toward practical exposure and wider placemen

There are slight chances of you getting a call from JBIMS as you are from reserved category but fall into OMC category as well, so you probably have less chances of getting converted into JBIMS.

All the colleges allow you to continue with job unless and until you are fulfilling their criteria of mandatory 75% attendance, but when you join a full time course it becomes pretty hectic to carry on with jobs because all your time gets consumed in colleges and assignments. PUMBA is one of the college which has a very low fees and yes, you can continue with job unless you fulfil 75% attendance.
