The entrance exam for each of the course will consist of a single paper which needs to be completed within 2 hours time duration. The single question paper for each course entrance test includes two types of questions – Objective type and Subjective type.

It is a glamorous profession which has a bright future. With the growth of hotel industry propelled by foreign and domestic tourism and business travel, the demand for well-trained quality personnel too has grown impressively. The diversity of experience in hotel management is greater than in any other profession. Hotel industry involves combination of various skills like management, food and beverage service, housekeeping, front office operation, sales and marketing, accounting. Today, the rise in corporate activity (leading to greater number of business trips) as well as the wish to travel on holiday has made the hotel industry a very competitive one.
Hotel Management is a 3year program.Its eligibility is
Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent.

To pursue your interest area, i.e., pharmacy, you need to first pass 12th in Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) with minimum 50% from a recognized board.

After completing B.Tech you have 2 options:
1.To opt for a job.
2.To opt for further studies (MBA, M.Tech etc)
However, as per your query, I would suggest you to work for 2-3 years after completing your B.Tech and then opt for further studies.The advantage of this step would be:
- You will gain relevant work experience.
- After working you will know which course to pursue that can further enhance your career prospects, i.e. if you wish to build your career in technical field, then you may pursue M.etch, whereas if you are interested in management then you may pursue MBA.
- If you are interested in pursuing MBA, then this work experience would help you to decide which specialization to opt in MBA that can further enhance your career prospects.
- The other advantage of work experience would be that during admission in MBA, you will have advantage over candidates with no work experience.
Finally, if you work for some years then you may yourself manage the expenses of your further studies.
