ia m not sure about the NIT seats but for your kcet ranking it is difficult to get seat in a good college and also it depends on ur catogary if u hav reservation u might get.Anyhow take the seat in the first round and wait for the next rounds if u r not happy wit it.U might even get in other rounds if u r lucky.
