After getting an MCA degree, one can enter any of the following roles:
1. Software Developer/Programmer/Engineer:
Software Developers are responsible for designing, installing, testing and maintaining the software systems. They provide IT services by analyzing the client needs and designing the system to meet those requirements.
2. Troubleshooter:
Troubleshooters are the lifeline of any organization. They make sure that the technology (hardware and software) is easily accessible to all those who require them. If any issue comes up, troubleshooters take the charge of resolving it so that the projects are delivered on time.
3. System Analyst:
A system analyst is responsible to design innovative IT solutions to drive businesses and increase efficiency. Their role is to study the current business situation, business processes and models, and design better IT solutions in terms of software for their clients.
4. Software Application Architect:
The role of a Software Architect is to make high-level decisions in Architecture and design of IT products or services. He/she develops technical guidelines and protocols such as software coding standards, tools and platforms.
5. Software Consultant:
Consultancy is a very popular career option today. A software consultant is responsible for evaluating a business, its processes and provides software solutions and other feedback to drive the business efficiency.
6. Hardware Engineer:
Hardware engineers love working with computer hardware such as hard disk, wires, circuit boards, computer chips, printers, keyboards, routers, and so on.
7. Technical Writer:
Technical writing is a good blend of technology and your creative writing skills. If you have a passion for latest technologies, gadgets and at the same time you love writing, then technical writing is a great career option for you.
8. Systems Developer/Engineer:
Systems developers are involved in writing codes and designing programs for operating systems and other software. They work towards increasing efficiency and suggest further growth and developments.
9. Web Designer and Developer:
A Web Designer/Developer is responsible for designing and developing websites. He/she should have a very creative blend of mind, color sense, and font style.
10. Starting a new Venture:
After completing MCA, one can also start his/her own venture after getting some experience in the field of interest.

Honestly telling please don't come here and save your 16 lac rupees. This is the worst college you will find these people don't help you at all and lie. Their administration is useless. Today it is 9 nov 2021 and on 8 nov 2021 we got a mail saying that we now have to attend compulsorily offline classes and exams will be offline and the best part here is they are telling this to us 20 days before the exam. These people expect us to drop everything and come to the college I mean don't we have lives. They are also cutting our winter break and will start the next semester immediately after the exams. The other universities in Uttarakhand told the students before hand that exams will be offline and this college is doing this with us. It is basic human nature that after seeing something like that anybody will panic and I am too. Because you have to be also mentally prepared for something like this everybody has to. But these people never understand that and always tells in the end. Now when we are trying to contact our faculty regarding this issue these people have blocked their email ids everyone of them. Then they say they are always avalible for their students. These people just lie. I have never come to the college and never once even lived in a hostel and for me it will be a bit tough to adjust to the new place to. And above that there will be a pressure of exams too. And now when we will be giving the exams the other colleges will be having holidays like a normal functioning college does everywhere. There are many colleges in the country that aren't opening but I don't know why did they suddenly wake up to this decision one day. So please don't COME HERE. And after this decision I am having bad thoughts in my mind and am afraid to take bad steps.
