Students of any stream can apply for BA LLB Hons provided that they meet the basic eligibility criteria. Candidates should clear Class 12 in any stream from a recognised school, with minimum 45-50 percent aggregate marks. There is no age bar to pursue the course. Also, if a candidate aspires to pursue law from NLUs, she has to pass CLAT UG entrance examination. Since CLAT UG or any other law entrance examination for 5 year LLB course require candidates to complete Class 12 from any discipline, Science students can also pursue this course. Moreover, candidates who pursue BA LLB Hons are introduced to the basic concepts of History, Sociology and Political Science.

For BA LLB Hons admissions, the students will have to attempt the respective entrance examination of the institute if they wish to apply for admissions.
