Hi,
First, check if it is required or not. You can also submit documents like Matric Admit card or Pan Card, etc., for DOB proof. And if you are submitting your birth certificate then yes you must get it translated in English. It's common sense. They won't accept Hindi transcripts.

However, the important factor is the preparation and the skills of the student himself. If he can learn more and more then irrespective of the university he can make a good career. There is no right or wrong to do LLB after graduation (be it any course). Before the launch of the 5 years B.A-LLB programs at NLU, most of the students used to pursue law only after graduation.
