I am afraid, there is no light at the end of tunnel. Like almost all states in India, eligibility criteria for admission into Engineering Colleges in TN is restricted to those domiciled in that state. This is particularly true for government or government aided colleges. The college that you mentioned falls in this category. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information.

Hi Sruti,
As you are studying in class 11th, it is the best time to start your preparations for IISER. As IISER is one of the toughest exams, it will be better to give more time to yourself. The syllabus is same as class 11th and 12th. You can refer to NCERT for your preparation to clear your concepts and to make your fundamentals strong. Paper is based on your concepts only. You can make your important notes which will help you at the time of revision. You can solve as many as MCQs for your practice and complete mock test series to work on your strength and weakness.
Good luck.

Yes, candidates who have completed their 12th (science) from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) board are generally eligible to apply for the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) entrance examination. However, it's crucial to verify the specific eligibility criteria set by each IISER for their entrance exams, as requirements may vary slightly from one institution to another. Typically, eligibility is based on certain academic criteria such as minimum marks in the qualifying examination and sometimes also includes criteria related to age and nationality.
