Scholar-Level 17

It will not affect anything. To do MBA, you must have 50% marks in graduation (any stream). Apart from this, you need to clear any national level entrance exam such as CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ LPUNEST/ NMAT/ CMAT/ GMAT. After qualifying written exam you have to go through GD or PI. Many colleges offer this course in India with different specializations. You can choose any specialisation as per your interest. Even you can go for dual specialisation. I am mentioning a few of them. Specializations:
Oil and Gas Management
Hospital and Healthcare Management, Supply Chain and Logistics, Tourism and Hospitality, Financial Markets, Finance, Marketing, Hum

The knowledge of spoken English is really an important factor to become a cabin crew. Institutions like Frankfinn help the candidates to groom for the entrance interview of airlines and also help in getting a basic knowledge of the aviation industry.
You may or may not need to take such classes as it depends on how you appear and carry your own self.
I would suggest you to learn some basic knowledge of the aviation sector via the internet and try appearing for some walk-in interviews for airline cabin crew.

Well, for 2018, the eligibility score in B.Tech from biotechnology for GATE exam is 38.9 for general category, 35.0 for OBC category and 25.9 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. On the other hand, for TANCET there are different eligibilities for different courses if you are going to opt after B.Tech. For example, if you want to give TANCET to qualify for M.Tech in biotechnology, then the eligibility criteria is to pass in Bachelors degree with atleast 50% and 45% in case of reserved categories. Also, people except from professional institutions are eligible for TANCET in their final year or last semester.

Hello Sir,
Admissions in Tamil Nadu are given fundamentally to the students who are native of Tamilnadu or to some other students meeting the criteria. But from what you have written I do not think that your son is meeting this criteria and hence your son's dream of studying in this college appears to be headed nowhere. However to help you I am attaching link that will give you in detail the eligibility conditions for getting admissions in Tamil Nadu.

Hello Chinnu,
It is a very good query that you have raised. This is the doubt in the minds of many students. Here, I will like to clarify that the marks which are best out of the two exams will be considered for calculating your merit list. So do not be worried. In this method the students gets opportunity to score better in the next exam if he or she feels that due to some reason the answers could not be written correctly in the first attempt. This is a good avenue for students to enhance their marks and along with that improve chances of getting admission.

It was decent last year (2017) i.e. my friend's batch. The core placements were less as compared to placements in IT sector. For their batch companies like JK Tyres, CEAT Tyres, L&T Valves visited along with lots of IT companies (for which mechanical was also eligible) and logistics-financial services also visited ( like Envestnet), etc. Apart from this, students who were members of the ISHRAE club got umpteen opportunities to sit for placement drive at Bangalore. (Godrej, Daikin and Voltas to name a few).
Off-campus placements happen frequently in and around other Engineering colleges nearby as well.
