Hello Hartej,The marks that a student need to score in JEE Mains for getting admission in Thapar Institute of Technology varies between categories of students. If you are from Punjab then scoring 100 in JEE Mains will perhaps get you the branch you desire, however if you are from outside Punjab then you need to score higher at 130 marks to get admission in this branch. Here I would like to caution you because these are the marks that got admission for previous years. The question paper invariably covers the complete syllabus of every subject. As a result of this if you leave certain topics by not studying them, the loss will be yours. You can definitely go for Accounting/Finance courses. Also, education in Canada is not as such expensive as compared to the USA or Australia. 10000 CAD are living expenses for 1 year and the fee would range from 8 to 18 Lacs for 1 year.
