Yes, if you haven't any issue in registration process and counselling process you can use affidavit. But there may be chance of rejection while counselling process during document verification online. It's upon college staff to examine and cross check your documents, generally no college want to reject admission on basis of spelling mistake, you can submit application and try to correct that document as soon as possible.

Yes, You can make an affidavit with your mother's name and both the correct names must be correctly mentioned in the affidavit then you can use the affidavit for admission. If you have given information as per your documents then there won't be any issue. However, With an affidavit, there shall be no issue to get admission to Engineering colleges. For latest you will get update soon. But as per the last year cutoff for Bsc at Allahabad University, there is day-wise declining rate in ranks. So for the first day for bsc maths it opened for 184 and above and for the second day 174 and above. And as mentioned the trend continues for increasing in day and decline in ranks as per day. Also I mentioned rank for UR. HOPE IT HELPS

The eligibility criteria for B.Ed is that the candidates should've passed UG/PG this year or previous years and obtained a degree certificate from University.
To claim admission under gov. quota, the candidate should be from Karnataka.
