Hello Abhay,
There is no need to take a year's drop to solely prepare for the CAT exam as it takes around 6-months of diligent preparation to clear CAT. There are still some exams left like CMAT, CET and MAT through which you can get into some reputed B-Schools. However, if your aim is to get admitted into an IIM or a top non-IIM, then only I would advise to take a drop and prepare for CAT. Though you can give the aforementioned exams if you wish. No, SRM doesn't provide a cyber security course. Though if your stream is CSE, IT or software then you choose subjects related to cyber security as your electives and even for that, you will get only 3-4 subjects.
