If you are going to join TCS in a month's time, I would strongly advise you to learn something new that can relax you. Like singing, playing an instrument, learning to play badminton or squash or swimming, etc. This will come in handy during high-pressure job in TCS.

No, maths is not mandatory but is an important part of the exam. Students who have studied maths in high schoo can have an edge but students with non mathematical background can also appear for the UGAT exam.
Students who have not studied maths in high school should put in a little extra effort in preparing for the QA section to ace the exam.
