Hi Sanket,
Although, there is general MBA and an MBA with specialization but in India you would mostly find B-Schools giving General Management programme. In MBA with specialization which you call core MBA you would be taught all the subjects in the first year of this MBA and in the second year you will opt for your specialization whereas in General MBA you would be taught all the subjects in both the years.
However, the opinion on this selection may vary from person to person but according to me, in today's world of competition it is very important that you do have an MBA with a specialization as it shows your strong managerial skills a

Hi Abhinanda,
There are several institutes in Kolkata which provide coaching for WBSC Examinations but as there is no public rating given to such Institutes it would be difficult to name the best Institute. However, the Institutes for WBSC Coaching are:
Presidency College
Rice
Academy Of Civil Services
Institute For Civil Service Aspirants
Rabindra Bharati University
MIES
Halder College
Ashutosh College
Hope this resolves your query. Feel free to put up more queries. In case your query is resolved please close this question by choosing it as a best answer or pressing the thumbs up icon.

Hi Sanket,
Both, MBA & MMM are the degrees which can give you a good career path depending on how you perform on the program and at the time of placement interviews.
MBA is a degree which develops your overall personality by giving knowledge of all the Management segments in the first year of two year MBA program, and in second year it focuses on your specialization. Whereas, MMM would be a highly specialized degree, which, focuses only on Marketing Management and does not develop you as a Manager but, does makes you Marketing expert.
However, the common notion is that MBA done from a good University gives you a better career scope than a

Shruti, if u do mtech after graduation ur teaching opportunity or research scope will come in surface , if u are aspired for. But if u do mba from a good b-school , placement area is wider and as a professional you will established in the society. May be the placement scope is more in MBA but possibility lies in both depending on aspiration , interest and finally converting them in result . Wishing best.

Hi Haridas,
Although, you can go for DLP from two Universities but keep in mind all the pros and cons such as: not all the Universities allow you to take up a degree course if you are already doing one , secondly, many companies nullify such degrees, also, there can be clashes at the time of Course Examinations.
Advisable is that you go for a correspondence programme from an Open University, in which you don't have to attend any classes and moreover would be more acceptable to the Companies.
Hope this will be of help.
Thanks,
Pooja
