Hino it is not necessary to but all state nd city have their own university same as mumbai university if you change your state for MBA then your university also will change and university is monetary body of colleges. and if you do PGDM then that would be affiliated by AICTE, PGDM is better then MBA. so you can select any university.

Hi Nanditha,
Almost all universities require a prior relevant study background for postgraduate programs in any specialisation of psychology.
I suggest you to look for a general MA or M.Sc. in Psychology programs as they are open for non relevant backgroubnd students as well.
If you are interested then you may refer to the following unvirsities for MA or M.Sc. in Psychology through distance learning:
Annamalai University
Indira Gandhi National Open University
