Yes, after qualifying intermediate examination, you are eligible to appear for the National Defence Academy examination to join Indian Navy, but for this, you have to complete your HSC with maths and physics. If you have chosen these two subjects, you are eligible for NDA and choose naval wing as a preference.
Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this examination, and your age should between 16.5 to 19 years.
The notification is published twice a year and this year's examination has already been conducted, if you are interested in joining the Indian Army, then wait for next year, the Notification will be published in the month of December after the notification, online registration will start. Only online application form facility is available for candidates.
The selection of candidates is based on written test followed by personal interview and medical test.
NDA examination is comprised of a written Exam followed by the intelligence and personality test. The written exam consists of two papers namely, mathematics and general ability test. The general ability test consists of English and general knowledge, the papers in all the subjects consist of objective type questions only with negative marking.
If you manage to qualify the written test, then you are eligible for SSB interview for the final selection.
