Generally, the minimum requirement for entry to an Indian Ph.D. is a Masters degree in a relevant subject, usually with an overall grade of at least 55% (or the equivalent). Rest of the eligibility depends on the college where you enroll.

You have a good score. There are many good colleges with this score, but if fees is your constraint and you are confident of yourself that you can crack a good placement then college will hardly matter. What matters if how well you groom yourself, as B-Schools will provide you with a platform and you have to make best use of it. If you are looking for good colleges with ROI, then I would suggest you to go for Sri Balaji Society's BIMM, ITM, IIMS, etc.

But then not everyone is lucky. On the other hand, data Science or data analytics is the emerging specialization. It existed earlier also but there was no formal training.
