You have 8 years to complete your engineering from the date of admission in your first attempt in Engineering college. So, the admission date in the engineering college where you left after the first year will be treated as the first year and 8 years from that will be the last year till which you have to clear your engineering. Let me tell you there is nothing like impossible. If you study hard everything is possible and you will be able to finish engineering in only four years from today. Just study hard and with good intentions. That's all.

No, Chartered Accountant CA qualifiers can't apply for UGC NET. To appear in this exam, you need to have a valid Post-Graduation degree passed with required percentage criteria i.e. 55% for General and 50% for ST/SC/PWD/OBC.
