Hi Abid, Bachelors in Computer Application (BCA) trains an individual in the various areas like basics in programming, networking, various application packages etc.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
* The minimum marks secured in 12th standard should be at least 50%.
* The candidate should have pursued science subjects ( Physics and Chemistry ).
* Most institutes insist candidates should have pursued Mathematics during 12th standard.
For further studies, generally BCA students opt for MCA which is a postgraduate course to pursue if they have an interest in computer application.
To be eligible, students must pass with 50% in any recognized Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 year's duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level.
OR
Pass with 50% marks in any recognized Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 year's duration in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
On completion of the course the candidates opt for either higher studies or jobs. It is important that these candidates have a sound knowledge (i.e. conceptual knowledge) so as to be successful in their career.
