To take admission in genetic engineering at graduate level you need to clear 10+2 with biology, chemistry and mathematics as well as genetics as part of the biology. Most universities don't offer it as a special discipline but as a subsidiary in biotechnology, microbiology, biochemistry.

You need to check the college websites for requirement information and shortlist the colleges accordingly. As info given by past students, they have centralized process for placement. So campus doesn't make any difference in placement. Currently 98% students placed. 98% is of 180 students (120 of Harihar and 60 of Pune)
In student exchange program they send Harihar students to Pune campus and Pune student to Harihar campus in 2nd year.
There is report of placement on KIAMS website. It includes names of students also. You can contact them on Facebook or LinkedIn
