Yes the college is good for Journalism . The faculty at IFIM are interactive and always guide towards achieving your goal. IFIM is better. College prepares each and every student for real time work by facilitating through PEP program. Personality Enhancement Program is all about communication skills, presentations, corporate grooming, handling stress etc. The program not only helps the students in building their corporate career but also changes a student as a person on the whole.
Placements at IFIM are good and IFIM offers 100% placements. We have many companies visiting our campus for recruitment. Some of them are Nestle, Deloitte etc.
I would say you can join IFIM if u r really enthusiastic in building up a career in your respective field.

Every universities are conducting their own entrance examinations for PhD courses. You can either appear for examination for which universities inviting application on the months of March-May. If you are selected, you can do research under a registered guide appointed by the university. You will eligible for Stipend during the research period.
Another option is Part Time External mode which is reserved for Teachers and employees of selected areas. In this mode, you can register for PhD , and have to find a guide, appointed by the university and you need to submit thesis and research report with in a period permitted by the university.
You can register for PhD directly with the college or through any colleges. In my Opinion, register through college is easy way.

First of all, it is necessary to understand which direction you want to build your career or what expectations you have, infact what kind of job you want. Although, it is an early stage, still planning is always necessary sooner the better. You shouldn't opt randomly. Get to know the pros and cons. You should also think of the scope after studying B.Com BBA or BCA even think of the higher studies after that. While studying B.Com you can do CA CS CFA Costing etc. Many related professional courses are there which will be based on B.Com. These are really good degrees and will give you good salaried job. In case of BBA, it is always best to study MBA after that which increases the scope of your growth. A hype over MBA is there and really you are sure to get at least some job, if you get that degree. BCA is the base for MCA which is also good career option. Truly speaking always think of future before taking any decision. If you work hard with full dedication whatever line you choose trust me you will get success. Good Luck.
