Hi,
First thing which I would like to clear here is that when you step in for a program like MBA what would matter, is your own academic scores and not the institutes standing. If you have been scoring well in your graduation and feel confident to give CAT immediately after completing your graduation then go ahead and do it.
The opnion about gaining experience may vary from person to person. If you ask me one or two year of experience would not help you much , in cracking CAT, apart from making you little more mature than freshers.
