Yes, you can get Scholarships if you are doing a program from the Top Indian Management Schools, provided you meet the criterion to get the scholarship. Generally these scholarships are for 2 yrs full time degree programs. For one year programs it would be on the university's or Institute's discretion. You can also check with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited & IOCL, these two organizations also provide scholarships to two year MBA students.
Most of the scholarships are offered on the basis of merit. Some of the institutions also take into consideration the scores obtained by the students in the entrance examination.

There is no short cut to hard work. However, Cracking an MBA test is a mini-management exercise. Although, we can provide you with tips but it is you who has to take an initiative. Few of the things you can do are:
Check out previous years question papers (if available) and analyze them to find out the pattern of the questions. Manage your time well, divide it in such a way that you can balance between your studies and personal life. Do self studies apart from this join the coaching; it will help you as there will be lot of discussion & interaction with other students sailing in the same boat. One more thing you should be able to work under pressure without letting stress take on you.
Besides these you should be very alert at the time of giving Exam. For that it is advisable to take up ample amount of sleep especially on the night before the exam.

Hi,
Not all the Top Management Instiutes will provide MBA through correspondence, even if there are programs they will be either part time or satellite programs like the once provided by IIMC or XLRI. However, the fee structure will differ from college to college generally; the correspondence program has lower fee structure then the regular once. If you are to aim for Server administration jobs in future and haven't done any technical degree, as you mentioned herein you did BCom, then opt for MCA only as that will better help your career in that very direction of career in Server Admin.
Also there are separate courses for Windows Server Administration currently offered that include modules like:
Building Blocks of Server Management
Securing Windows Server
Patch Management Implementation
Maintaining a High-Availability Environment
Maximizing Performance and Increasing Responsiveness
Troubleshooting Windows Server
There are courses for Active Directory & Group Policies for Windows Server that can help you further to enhance your skills.
Do try for these course along with MCA and you will definitely be moving in the positive direction for job in Server Administration domain.

You may take admission into the university however if your final or average percentage is not as per the required criteria by the desired course then its difficult also you need to mention the reason of the backlogs in your SOP and reason should be like was not well, some personal family tensions etc don't mention that was bsy in playing sports or was not good in studies or not prepared for the papers etc.Also try to score good percentage and if test like IELTS/ TOEFL is required then try to get the exact score whichever is required then only university will consider your application.

If you go for a regular MBA programs from the top Institutes, there are availability of Scholarships, & placements are also good, but nobody can gaurantee you the Scholarship & placements. Also, it not only depends on the Institutes, but also on your own capabilities, the scholarships would be merit based (which includes your performance on entrance, GD & PI, & your academic credentials) and placements would depend on how you perform on the program and how you use your knowledge earned at the time of placement interviews.
