Scholarships are awarded on various criteria. The norms vary for different universities and programs.
Generally they are as followed:-
Merit scholarships: On the basis of overall academic achievement.
Need-Based Scholarships: Designed to fund the less-fortunate students in their academic pursuits.
Athletic Scholarships: Given to star athletes by some universities to recruit them for the athletic teams.
School-Based Individual Scholarships: Specific scholarships relevant to the university.
Full/Partial Scholarship : Most times students are given partial scholarships which normally cover simply living, simply books, or part of the tuition

If you want to make carer in economics then you can do MA in economics today there is good demand for economics subject , if you want to go in banking sector , insurance sector or in administrative line then MBA is other better option for you , there is many field in which you can do your management degree

Sharda university is good but you have to try to get admision for good business school , becasue today there is not so much good placement in MBA colleges , only from good business schools company higher
